The spread of the Corona virus also had an impact on the business operations of EUROPLANT Pflanzenzucht GmbH. Since mid-March, special hygiene measures have been in place to prevent the spread of the virus. The safety of employees, partners and customers has always been the top priority. The measures have been and are continuously adapted to the current recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute and the German government.

80 % of the company's total turnover is generated in the months of February to April. Supply chains were disrupted or completely interrupted, posing a major challenge to staff. "We are pleased that, despite this difficult situation, we were able to fulfil all our deliveries and orders on time as planned and without any significant restrictions, both nationally and internationally," says Jörg Eggers, Managing Director of EUROPLANT. "Our experienced employees did everything they could to master this challenge. This shows: our customers can rely on EUROPLANT at all times!"

EUROPLANT again records rising sales volumes in all segments. EUROPLANT attributes the good business development, among other things, to its broad assortment, which has the right variety for almost every need. "Thank you to our customers who place their trust in us" says Jörg Eggers.
